Remedial Classes
Remedial Classes – 1 Hour
Strengthen essential academic foundations through our one-hour Remedial Classes, designed for students aged 5–18 who benefit from structured, individualised support.
These classes are suitable for students who experience ongoing difficulty in one or more school subjects, have gaps in foundational knowledge, or need concepts explained in a different way and at a more manageable pace.
Each programme begins at the student’s current level. The tutor identifies the underlying skills that need strengthening, breaks learning into clear steps and uses guided practice, repetition and regular review to help new understanding become secure.
Support may include literacy, numeracy, study skills, comprehension, written work or foundational concepts in other school subjects. Lessons are adapted to the student rather than expecting the student to fit one fixed teaching method. Progress is built gradually, with achievable goals that allow the learner to recognise their own improvement.
Unlike short-term catch-up support, remedial learning focuses on rebuilding the foundations behind persistent difficulties. It gives students the time and instruction needed to develop skills that may not have become secure during earlier learning.
At Brilliant Brain, remedial education is never about judgement or labelling. It is a patient process of identifying barriers, rebuilding understanding and helping students become more confident and independent learners.
