Sculpture – 1 Hour Class

Turn imagination into three-dimensional form in our one-hour Sculpture classes, designed for students aged 5–18.

Each lesson is adapted to the student’s age, ability and creative interests. Younger children explore shape, texture, balance and construction through enjoyable hands-on projects, while older students can develop more advanced skills in proportion, volume, structure, composition and sculptural design.

Students may work with age-appropriate materials such as clay, modelling compounds, paper, card, wire or recycled materials. They learn techniques including shaping, joining, carving, layering, building and adding surface detail while discovering how an idea changes when viewed from different angles.

Sculpture develops creativity, spatial awareness, patience, fine motor skills and practical problem-solving. Students are encouraged to experiment, make independent decisions and understand that the creative process can involve adapting an idea as it develops.

At Brilliant Brain, sculpture gives students the opportunity to think with their hands—transforming an idea into an object they can see, touch and experience from every side.
